Lauren's Story
My name is Lauren, but you can call me Lomo!
Bridging ancient wisdom with modern science, I create spaces for deep healing, transformation, and reconnection to the Self. As a future physician specializing in neurology, with a foundation in integrative and somatic healing arts, I offer an approach that honors the whole human being—mind, body, and spirit.
My journey into healing was forged not in comfort, but in fire.
I was born in Atlanta, Georgia into a family navigating the turbulence of divorce. Early life exposed me to emotional adversity, resource instability, and the lasting imprints of trauma. Over the years, I faced and survived a litany of chronic health challenges—including PTSD, anxiety, depression, head injuries, recurrent infections, neurogenic bladder, dysmenorrhea, gastrointestinal dysfunction, emotional dysregulation, and more. There were times when the storms seemed endless, yet something deeper within me refused to give way.
Today, many of those labels no longer define me. They are chapters of my story—but not its conclusion. Through both conventional and integrative approaches, and often navigating limited access to healthcare, I learned that true healing demands a radical commitment to the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.
Healing, I believe, is an ever-unfolding, organic process. It is not about achieving a final state of perfection, but about weaving resilience, honesty, and compassion into the fabric of our lives.
In my work, I honor both the clinical knowledge afforded by modern medicine and the ancestral wisdom that reminds us: the body knows how to heal when we listen closely. I view healing as a collaborative dialogue—between evidence-based practice, embodied experience, and the quiet, persistent voice of the soul.
My vision is to integrate my diverse training in psychology, neuroscience, neurobehavioral counseling, life skills, energy work, and medicine into a cohesive, holistic model of service. Every offering is grounded in science, guided by intuition, and devoted to your unique story.
Healing is not about becoming someone else--It is about remembering who you already are.
